Chickasaw Nation

The Ada Senior Center is a facility currently being designed by Create4All, located on the Chickasaw Nation campus in Ada, Oklahoma. The preliminary design package focuses on promoting community for elders and their families while supporting safety and overall wellness. The design includes approximately 15,800 square feet of programmed space and evaluates two floor plan options to study layout efficiency, circulation, and adjacency. Both schemes maintain similar square footage and storage capacity, with key program elements including a large dining area with kitchen and serving spaces, social space with a fireplace and television wall, craft rooms with dedicated storage, computer and technology areas, exercise and volleyball activity spaces, administrative offices, and support areas. Scheme 2 was developed to reduce walking distances and improve circulation efficiency for elder users, while both options integrate a storm shelter within the building footprint.
